Meet the Dogs Behind Eat Sleep Bark

Every good dog brand needs a great pack. Ours is Buster, Kronos and Gigi — three dogs with completely different personalities who somehow manage to inspire a surprising number of T-shirts.

Buster — The Boss
Chocolate Lab • 9 years old

Buster was the first to join our family, after our younger son successfully pestered us into getting a dog. He picked Buster — and Buster has been running the place ever since.

Well... “running” might be generous.

Buster is the big boss who knows he's the big boss, but would generally prefer to supervise from a comfortable spot. New person at the house? He might wander over, give them a sniff, and sit down beside them. He only gets involved when he decides Kronos and Gigi actually need backup.

His primary occupation is eating. His secondary occupation is wondering when he'll be eating again.

Special talent: Supervising without actually doing anything
Weakness: An empty food bowl

Kronos — The Workhorse
Golden Retriever • 8 years old

Kronos arrived a year after Buster when our older son decided that if his brother had a dog, he needed one too. He chose Kronos — and eight years later, Kronos is still the busiest member of the household.

He's active, ridiculously friendly, always ready to be outside, and convinced that personal space is optional. He's also the self-appointed guard dog — or at least as much of a guard dog as a Golden Retriever can manage.

Kronos has another job, too: house doctor. He's remarkably good at noticing when Buster or Gigi isn't quite right. He's Buster's buddy, Gigi's buddy, and generally everyone's best friend.

Special talent: Knowing something's wrong before the humans do
Weakness: Being separated from his people

Gigi — Mama's Girl
Yellow Lab • 11 years old

Gigi's journey into our family was a little different. We adopted her when she was seven, and she arrived from France — complete with her own passport. She's now the eldest member of the pack.

Gigi is Mama's girl. Wherever I am, that's generally where you'll find her. She's super friendly, loves to eat, and has one of the most enthusiastic tails in the house. Say her name — sometimes just look at her — and that tail starts thumping.

She's also the household alarm system. Someone at the door? Gigi knows. A car driving by? Gigi would like everyone informed.

Special talent: Tail-thumping at the slightest provocation
Weakness: Food. Definitely food.

The Pack Behind the Designs

Between Buster's appetite, Kronos's inability to understand personal space, and Gigi's determination to be wherever Mama is, inspiration is never particularly hard to find.
